In collaboration with Thor Park, T2-campus and IncubaThor, EnergyVille addresses this issue with an energy crash course for students and teachers. Because in the end, students are the voice of the future and teachers the most important knowledge facilitators.

Where: Thor Central, Thor Park 8000, 3600 Genk
What is the current state of electric vehicles? What role have batteries to play in the future? And 100% renewable energy, is that even possible? On 2 May 2019 all students of the 5th and 6th grade of secondary education are invited to learn more about the energy system of the future.
Discover with your classmates how far technology has developed. Did you for example know solar panels can be integrated into building façades or windows? Or did you know flooded mines can provide heat for an entire neighbourhood?
No worries, we apply a hands-on approach to introduce the energy system of the future. This informative day will be concluded with a tour in our labs. This way you can seewith your own eyes how these innovative technologies are being developed.
