On Thursday, 24 November SRBE/KBVE is organizing a study day on the 'Electrification of the industry to decarbonize the future.'
This study day will cover new developments in the chemical, metallurgical and cement industries to achieve the objectives set by the European Community. Technologies that promote the use of electricity, such as electrolyzes, heat pumps and edrives, will be described.

Energy producers are developing solutions that avoid the use of fossil fuels while using renewable energies to power processes and their feedstock. On the other hand, manufacturers are working on new processes that consume less fossil fuels and more hydrogen and electricity.
