This session is the second of three breakfast sessions organized by InnoEnergy in 2018 touching on the impact of digitalization on the energy market.

Bibliothèque Royale de Bruxelles: Sky Room
Boulevard de l'Empereur 4
1000 Brussels

In this session on September 21 we will discuss what it takes to design an ‘energy-smart’ city. Does a bottom-up approach with ‘energy-smart’ buildings eventually lead to a smart city? Will algorithms in buildings get so smart that they automatically merge in one omniscient city brain? Is the brain system of the Octopus, radically different from human centralized intelligence and control, an inspiration for smart cities?
Inspiring speakers from EnergyVille/VITO, Eandis, Cloud Energy Optimizer and InnoEnergy will share their views on and experiences with the subject.

Participation is free, but registration is mandatory.
